Hello boaters on the other side of the boarder. I have a 1984 Larson Nantucket Express 19 1/2' with outboard power. What I need to know is what is the best and simplest method to install a kicker bracket:?: The problem I see is that on each side of the transom it is filled with flotation foam about 10 - 12" thick and covered with fiberglass. Do I have to cut out all the foam and fiberglass to get at the transom for mounting bolts:?: Or is there an easier way? I'd really appreciate some input on this before I make a real mess and open up a big can of worms. Thanks in advance guys.
