    Hi Guys,

i need e a prompt about a joint between hull and deck for a canoe .
The purpose is to use unfortunately single mold for hull and final result a least possible without the use of rubrail. Is there the possibility to have the "viewless" joint?
I think internal flanges for hull to glue with the deck but i think that is hard to realize without a detachable mold.

    Thank you for the support.

A joint that is nothing more than a thin line is possible. However, the precision necessary for the molds and manufacturing will increase the cost. I would guess it will be between 5 to 10 times more expensive.

If you are using a single mold for the hull, you can't put a flange on it. What you can do is have a vertical edge on the deck inset the thickness of the hull. You can then glue the hull and deck together. It will be like the lid on a box.

Do you mean a single mold for the deck and hull?
