I have a dream! (boat design that is)

Like many of you, I have dream of designing a boat. Currently I’m in the infant stages of the creation process and simply am only working on an “idea”.

My question is where can I turn for a designer or naval architect to draft my idea onto paper? I am in need of a specialist in the classic mahogany bow rider design preferably in the gulf coast area as my “idea” stems from a classic mahogany runabout / bow rider, so a designer with this expertise I would think would be very helpful.

I live in Louisiana where we have several international industrial boat builders; a few of them have even translated their designs into sport fishers. However their medium for design is aluminum and I don’t believe they will be the help I’m looking for. Once I complete the design phase I will be looking for a top-to-bottom builder, so if there design/building companies out there I would be most grateful for you help.
