Design and classification rules of BOR 90 and/or BPV

Hello Boat Designers,

I am currently working on my senior design project and was curious if anyone knows of which classification rules/regulating body of rules were used in the design of either the BMW Oracle 90 trimaran or the Banque Vopulaire V trimaran.
any help would be greatly appreciated!

High performance racing yachts are usually not built to any rules but to first principles.

Class society rules are only for finance and insurance purposes, they only bring good/accepted practice to the the table. Most extreme racing craft are self financed and may only be term insured.

my group and I have come to realize this and are resorting to the ISO rules 12215 and our knowledge of marine composite structures to generate the most sound engineering decisions on our vessels strucutre.
