    Hi,

I'm new to the forum. I'm located in South Florida and am looking for a good, reliable and reasonable (in price) company that can fabricate the fiberglass hull and assemble my boat.

    Any recommendations?

How big? From scratch or bare hull? Plug? Mold? One off?
What's your range in South Florida? Within a certain size range there may be some potential builders in Stuart

And of the three things you are looking for I would choose 2.

    0 good
    0 reliable
    0 reasonable

For something like this an existing boat builder with the facility, staff and sources would probably be your best bet. Maybe find a boat builder that makes a similar boat with the finish you are looking for, and has a slow period where they can fit you in, or just have them make the hull and deck and finish it somewhere else.

There are a couple of small outboard boat builders in Dade County like Renegade, Concept or Ocean Runner that may be worth asking, would depend on how busy they are. Monza I believe is now called Motion, I don't know them but they seem to be in business. There are a few builders that might take a project like this on in Stuart, again depending on how busy they are. Most are in the same industrial park, the Stuart Commerce Center just East of US1 in South Stuart. Jim Smith, Garlington and Willis are back there and I doubt any of them would take a small boat job like that, but there are other builders like L & H on Slater Street that might. Would be worth it to drive up there are just go up and down the 4 or 5 streets in that park and look around. I just took a virtual "drive" around that park on google maps.

    Also look here: http://boat-builders.regionaldirectory.us/florida.htm

There are companies in Ft Lauderdale and Palm Beach that could do it, but would be pricey.

Enable contact information and maybe something else will come to mind

Would there be any possibility that a current boat manufacturer and seller would be willing to make the boat? Wouldn't that give them ideas to use on their own boats?

Current boat builders are what I suggested. If there was a good idea in your design they would probably be interested, but most boat builders have seen just about anything that can be currently be done on a 35 ft CC. So unless you have reinvented the wheel, I doubt there is anything there of value if that's what you are fishing for. I also supplied you with a link to many Florida Boat Builders.

Me question comes to mind. Do you have the right to produce a boat from the molds? Just because you own them doesn't mean the designer isn't owed a commission on every hull produced.
