Anodes for barge

    I am building a small steel barge for saltwater use that has no electrical system, is not connected to shore power, has no dissimilar metals below the waterline and is coated with Intertuf 262 epoxy and Interspeed 640 antifouling paint.

    My question: Do I need to install zinc anodes? Thanks!

    As long as you avoid any scratches you don't need one.
    But I would install a small electrode anyhow and look from time to time if there are signs of wear.
