Hello Angel, Here is a conservative start to get the ball rolling. It will go anywhere but won't fly like the Atlantic.

This one is the Wharram approach if you don't like solid decks, I like the South Seas look of these.....

In the meantime, I'm covered with wood chips and epoxy but looking forward to taking our wings (deck that is) North again.

Of course it is at the opposite end of design from the Atlantic but the pilot house looks just as big

I'd respond except I'm still depressed at the virtual end of Angel's and my virtual relationship....a boat that virtually couldn't float. The ads were funny and free like the wind and I actually found Dick Newick plans for a boat called Relationship - designed to sail without any people at all, eliminating most romantic problems but opening the door on chip set issues.....

 

I suppose I should have updated Angel....I did sail North and kept my eyes open for affordable Atlantic Cat substitutes but most options involved piracy. My operating orders have me functioning in a state of pooracy when cruising so we didn't look in big marinas, there were some monohulls rumored to be deals do to a state of porosity.
I also tried to meet lady sailors thinking new romance would help but found instead friends who'd lost their girlfriends and shore bound guy sailors who were so confused they didn't even know guys are supposed to date girls...monohullers get caught up in that whole rum and lash tradition.....They of course suggested that do to the nature of internet exchanges I could be corresponding with a cross dressing Belgian cabaret singer named Charles,..We did race a much larger tri for the email of a lady from New Zealand but were passed leaving the harbor after using a head start to talk to a Wharram Pahi 26 sailor. I asked how the boat was, thinking of Angel, and he kept repeating the word "Small"......
Completely disillusioned I returned to running gubs, the latest batch raised in the wine cellars of Canadian guitarist Alex Lifeson who couldn't mind them while on tour....Now I think we can say the subject has closure.
