    Hi all,
Ive rebuild a 350 Chevy inboard as a few of you will know.
All the teething problems have been telt with.
Last thing to do is replace the run in oil and filter with normal oil has she's well run in.

My question is what's the best oil to run.
    Cheers
    Mike

Given your engine, there's no good answer. On newer tighter tolerance engines, a strong argument can be made for synthetics, but your engine will do just fine with conventional oil of the appropriate weight, for your environment.

Isn't that amazing that Mobil suggests it's product is just perfect . . . hummmm

Oils are formulated to a spec and they all fall at or above it. Your engine can use banana oil, but I'd recommend a real motor oil, again the weight your environment prefers. A 10w-30 or 10w-40 will likely be just fine.
