      Hi Bob,

I sourced the engine and jet drive from a 2004 Honda Aquatrax R12X PWC with 66 hrs on it, that I procured for my project (I chose this particular unit for several reasons after a ton of research, and I also didn't want a 2-stroke).
It's based off of Honda's S2000 engine architecture and is an all-aluminum 1235cc DOHC 4 cylinder with EFI, turbo, air-to-water intercooler and dry-sump oiling. Right now it's bone-stock (yeah, that's how Honda built it) with 165 hp @ 6100 rpm and 145 lb/ft @ 5500. It should be a lot of fun in a 12' 6" tunnel hull weighing in at ~600 lbs complete. :D

Currently I plan on testing the boat in stock tune, but if for some ungodly reason it's not enough, I can tweak the boost 5 lbs, add water/methanol injection and crack 250 hp and 225 lb/ft without even messing with the tuning (Just in case I need to.....)

      Thanks Bob,
      Dave
