How much resin would a Kevlar Fabric 170gm use per m²?

How many layers would be needed totally of the Kevlar Fabric when building a sandwich hull (12.5 mm core), using epoxy, for a 21 foot, 90 hp powerboat?

Depending on process ie; hand lay-up or vac bag, you should allow approx 120 grams of resin for wet-out. any excess will be drawn away with the use of a vac bag.

Beware the kevlar. If you are planning to fair the hull by sanding you'll have a nightmare with Kevlar. It rips up into a fuzzy indestructible mess. Not however a problem if you are laying up under gelcoat.

A light weight glass tissue could also be used to stop kevlar fuzz, or peel ply and then spray on hi-bild paint prior to sanding
