Quite difficult without a good profile shot of the hull. Top view a plus. No manufacturer name plate on the hull? If not, someone who has sailed it before might recognize the deck areas. It's definitely an older boat. Looks like a solid boat. At a minimum you could measure it, then browse this index and match it up by length.

    Full List of Sailboats http://bluewaterboats.org/about/index/

From there, narrow it down further by shape of its keel, deck & sail plan.

One of our users (Angelique) is a boat finding sleuth. She or another user might know what it is.

Either way let us know what you find out!

The appendages look early to mid 70's which means it may have a HIN on the upper right corner of the transom.

Thanks Joseph, but like you said in post #2, a good hull profile shot and a deck view would really help here, as would to know the dimensions L × B × D.

It could be we have to look at Europe for this design, as the boat looks to be located there now, since Klaus is from Germany, and the in post #1 on pic 4 partly shown trailer licence plate is German, as is the mostly covered neighbour trailer licence plate in pic 1.

Below the blue first section with a circle of yellow stars on a Euro vehicle license plate from Germany (Deutschland).

For Germany it further has black letters and numbers on a white background with a thin black border around it, the topic boat looks to be on a trailer from the Munich area, since the partly shown plate in pic 4 seems to be starting with a ‘‘M’’.

About the boat, see: SailboatData.com ---> Search L.O.A.

Fill in the LOA range as narrow as possible, and check the options, I would say.

E.g. LOA 30' to 31' gives me right now 384 sailboat designs listed there.

    Good luck !

OK here's my best shot from the little info in the above post #1, found on a German sailing forum: Segeln Forum

Die Ventura 30 ist ein schönes Beispiel dieser Aera.

Next links are in Dutch, as it turns out there's a Ventura 30 Champ for sale (or give away) in the Netherlands, for a handyman the ad says, needs to go ASAP, she has a mast + boom + rigging and a dodger, but no sails and no engine, inside is a wreckage, current bid is € 1,000.00 - (US $)

The ad text says the first one who actually shows up and takes her along can get her almost for free, it seems like someone has given up halfway a project.

    ( Edit: - P.S. - I've just checked on Monday 28 May 2018 at 02:43 CEST, all old biddings are removed, the highest bid is now € 200.00 - (US $) )

The red and the blue Ventura 30 Champ as well as the drawing have a transversal cockpit coaming in front of the transom, which the post #1 boat seems to lack since the longitudinal cockpit coamings seem to run through until the transom there. Could this be a different deck mold, or a different boat altogether ?

Also the shown example Ventura 30's and the drawing don't sport the in post #1 shown lazarette hatch, since this doesn't match with the athwartships aft cockpit coaming on the same spot.

And the post #1 top of the rudder is a bit different, as is the top rudder-hull attachment and bearing, when compared to the red Ventura 30 I think.

Seen the similarities and also the differences, the post #1 boat could be an older and/or a bit smaller type of the same brand or designer, I'll guess.

From the info in post #5 I've tried to score some pictures of boats from the yard and the designer, the latter looks quite impressive . .

It needs to be checked of course to which extent these findings are related to the post #1 boat, and the guessed boat in post #5.

Here's a 25 m (82') LOA Cutter designed by Gerhard Gilgenast, built in 1986 by Amir Reinforced Plastics as a one-off in sandwich construction, rebuilt from top to bottom in 1992-1994 by Jongert in Holland, a while back she was for sale on the island of Palma de Mallorca in Spain, she's sold now.

that skeg style seems to be Gerhard's signature . . .
