    Hi,

Just ran across this boat, I am curious if anyone can help me on the type, builder or designer of this boat.

did you see the boat your self or just see a picture of it? I ask because there is an ID
number on it that gives you the info you need.

I would Google the Quebec Coast Guard to get a mailing address send them copes of your
pics and beg for assistance. They may have a posted e-mail address.

The post #1 picture is from Edam in the Netherlands, here's the other side of the building, it shows the company name and phone numbers, so you can call them for info, but the property is for sale, maybe to build some houses there and/or to establish a new business on that location, anyway the local situation is about to change . . .

The boat was for sale in 2013 and maybe still is, you need to register on that sales site if you want to contact the 2013 seller...

    P.S.

I don't see the Quebec Coast Guard boat on the 14 pictures of the broker of the property.

This could be the website of that yacht service yard which seems to be on a new location now and has another phone number, but that looks to be in contradiction to this statement...

Dutch: ‘‘ de eigenaar heeft nu definitief besloten om met pensioen te gaan ’’

Translation: ‘‘ the owner has now definitely decided to retire ’’

Yes, but instead of points in the picture it's written with commas, which is the way to write it down in a lot of non English speaking countries, including the Netherlands, so I guess the dimensions on the side of the boat were (re ?) painted in the Netherlands.

This could be the 2013 seller, if so then he most likely has info about the boat, contact info is at the bottom of the page.

I've reworked post #6 to make the boat pictures clickable for enlargement.

1.3 m 4¼' draft looks a bit deep to me for this boat, what draft would be normal for this boat ?

Also wondering if those are Plimsoll marks in feet on the bow, if so then draft there would be just above 2' there, so about 0.7 m I guess.

Those aren't physical dimensions but rather internal volume dimensions for tonnage registration purposes. The last number (1.3m) is depth of hull, from sheer to keel, and still seems high, but who knows......

    Guys,

There's nothing like Quebec coast guard. If you look at right of the Canadian flag it's written CCGS. that means Canadian Coast Guard Ship.

    From a Quebec Citizen.

My interpretation of it is that the name of the boat is QUEBEC, and being named after Québec I would have expected the CCGS abbreviation to be in French on the bow . . . ;)

    Such as . . . QUEBEC [IMG] N.G.C.C.

NGCC = Navire de Garde Côtière Canadienne
