    Hi,
I have a question regarding to sea chest in the engine room.
Could we place the sea chest between two engine rooms? In other words on the BHD that separate the engine room.
Any rules or regulations to confirm or reject this type of concept.
    Thank you for your attention.

I wouldn't do it for the simple reason that blocking the sea chest knocks out both engines.
Are we talking centerline bulkhead or transverse bulkhead? What damage requirements?

Also important, likely more, are flow issues on the hull there.

Another expert is @baeckmo. I suspect he may want to see a side view of the hull with the bh/location distances..

outta my league, but you might want to consider things like proximity to props, underwater hull forms, etc over convenient location

Thank you. I do agree to your reason. This a transverse bulkhead and almost in the midship area.

Thank you. This sea chest is located almost in the midship area closed to centerline in flat bottom area.
