safety factor for propeller in bollard astern condition

    Does anyone knows what is factor of safety criteria for propeller in "bollard astern" condition.

    Factor of safety for what? Thrust bearing?, Shaft torque?, Blade bending? Castle nut?

    Normally FoS is specified in the contract, either directly or indirectly via the classification society.
