Rotatable boat formwork - any ideas?

I am trying to settle on a design for a framework to build my 28footer on, so that I can rotate the hull on demand for laying up fibreglass, painting etc.

Has anyone seen or built something like this before ?

Sure, a boat rotisserie is real convenient.

The only complicated part is the bracket to secure the stem and transom to the "axle". It was easy for me, with a welded aluminum 20', just hang the whole thing from two come-alongs.

A friend in Maine built a wooden 34 footer on a rotisserie. As I recall, his wife made him use a floor-mounted rig, rather than hanging it from the ceiling joists, as they lived above the shop.

 

The rotating bit (whatever i end up using) would be great to be on a trailer. I imagine i will need to have some sort of stabilizing legs for levelness as well as stability if I build on some sort of wheeled platform.
The need for a trailer is to be able to cart the boat around to tradespeople for painting, electrical, eviction from sheds etc etc

Thanks for the picture - that helps a lot.
I can see that that is a mould, but the principle looks great. I will need access to the hull exterior of course, but if I hung an internal space frame girder off the top of the "circle", I would get the result I needed.
