reduce catamaran beam

    That's the thing with cats, they feel solid and stable, right up until they blow over. Not saying that is going to happen here, there may not be enough power in the sails even with the reduced beam, but be careful.

    Plenty of power there to pull it over but that depends on how hard you want to push it. I always have 1 hand on the mainsheet out of habit with beach cats .
