    Morning,
I'm looking for some type of product which could possibly be attached along the chine edges somehow to help protect them. I'm in the process of fairing my boat and looking along the chine edge which I have managed to get to a really nice sharp edge. I realised it wouldn't really take that much to chip them, I have been able to find product's that help protect along the keel like Keelshield,http://www.keelshield.com/ and keeguard,http://www.keelguard.com/. One of which I will most likely use for along the keel but nothing that could help protect the chine edge which I'm bound to knock around sometime as the water I fish in can be a bit hard on boat's with logs ,rocks etc. just don't want to have to be continually have to be doing repairs to small ding's and what ever. Anyhelp on finding something would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I know of that's used to improve abrasion resistance to a boat is Dynel. This would normally be incorporated in the layup of the hull. It is an acrylic polymer so you'd have to test for compatibility with your resin type.
