    I really liked what you did here. I agree totally to use polyester whenever you can, not just because it is cheaper but also because if you work with epoxy a lot you can develop an allergic reaction to it and then you have to stay away from it completely, and if you ever have to grind it also, much worse than polyester.

    Using the GFlex to just bond your glass-poly to the boat was brilliant. One might ask why not just scuff up and apply a layer of GFlex first and then layup the polyester glass to than. As you well know but did not mention this does not work either. Epoxy will bond to polyester but polyester will not bond to epoxy.

    Thanks for the video. Really good stuff. I will use this. Now play safe. ;-)

    p.s. Just watched Part 4. Also great. Well done pointing out the danger of colloidal silica. Nasty stuff.
