polyester /fiberglass layup over uncured epoxy

    i read somewhere that you can do polyester fiberglass layup over epoxy BUT it has to be before the epoxy cures. while still tacky.

    no, the styrene in the polyester turns the epoxy to toffee

    100% wrong, the two are totally incompatible in an uncured state.

    put a lump of cured epoxy in some styrene monomer and wait 24 hrs
