    Hi

I am new to this site but from what I have been reading sounds like a lot of knowledgeable people on here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am in the process of replacing the transom on my 21' tunnel hull. The boat has a 260hp outboard with a total of 10 inches of set back using a jack plate. My question is how many layers of fabric should I use and what type of fabric? I am planning to use Epoxy.

I would have gone with the thickness of the original inner skin but the last shop that replaced the transom did a poor job and I would like to do it better this time around.

    Thanks

    Carl
