One boat that will do all

    Looks like the Chesapeake Light Craft gets added to the short list. I think if I get to take the boat down a few rivers, the resale value will be negligible. It'll probably show all the abuse, but I will have had my fun with it.

    that's perfect! I knew the ways of experience would prevail. Sorry for the late reply, I just watch 4 hours of Jac Crusteau! I know that probably sounds funny but I found the DVD's in the library on the weekend and had to watch them. One was the Mississippi and the other was the Amazon Rivers. Pretty cool really. anyway... sorry to get off topic a bit.

    I really like the simplicity of your materials and designs regarding sails.
    I'm pretty good with a sewing machine. thanks again for the info and I'll
    certianly keep you posted with my progress. :idea: :)
