Jonathan Rosa R Never give up!

    Hi boatdesign community!!

My name is Jonathan Rosa Ruiz, I am a Naval Architect and I am new in this forum. I have been reading threads in this forum for over half year and finally I have decided to register and become part of this amazing community. :)

I have studied Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in the UCA (University of Cadiz) and I have experience in the field of Production Management.

I have designed a 60 feet ocean-going sailing yacht for my final project (it is seaworthy one, like those yachts from the 70's).

My main interests in the yacht design field are: seaworthyness, comfort, ergonomics and refurbishing of old yachts!

I hope I can share my knowledge and learn from you since I am sure many of you have a huge experience in this field and I can learn a lot.

I am also running a website where I will be publishing articles and topics related to yacht design and Naval Industry, I hope you have a look on it because I will publish interesting stuff every week or every two weeks:

It would be nice to make contact with all spaniards in the community, as far as I know, there is Ignacio López (TANSL), very well known for his SCT software. Anyway, I'll glad of being in contact with you all, wherever you are from and of helping you whithin my possibilities. By the way, I have also been a couple of times in conversations with the great Eric Sponberg and believe he's also in this community. Nice to talk about yachts with a great and kind american designer!

    Kind regards,
    Jonathan Rosa Ruiz
