New boat building factory

Ayman, based on my limited knowledge, I think Petro's idea of building tenders is an excellent way to start for many of the potential clients in your part of the world. It would be great see you appearing at one the boat shows there with a beautiful and attention-getting wood-built tender for wealthy yacht-owners.

I am exactly doing what you suggested and recommended. However, I still need a senior boat builder to help me run the start.
When I started my wooden factory I was doing it without a real management. I was making money and then I started losing sometimes I gave $20k from my pocket per month. But a man walked in who was a senior factory manager and due to argument with the owner, he got fired. And thus, he ended up here. And in 7 months he transformed the shop into factory, and I helped a lot too.
I want to repeat the story this time with boats.

I did went to the boat show 3-4 times and visited boat factories around and what you say is in my dreams since 2007 ...its my dream more than anything else.

by they way, I graduated from California State University .. at the beach 

 

One year from now we will see a CNN news story about a former California student with a successful boat factory. Two years from now his boats create an international sensation with a 5-year waiting list.

Are you talking about Cal State Long Beach? I graduated from CSULB in 1982, mechanical engineering. It was a great hands-on school than, all of what I learned was useful and served me well. I do not know what it is like now.

 

yup yup...at the beach as they call it on the FM radio.. i graduated 1999.. i love that place so much, the weather.. People... didnt go back since that time..but my brother graduated 2002 and it says it only kept getting more expensive! lol

How would feel about building rich boy's toys? a bit like this:

Edit: oops pic wont load. Anyway, I am referring to modern-classic mahogany speed boats. We feel you are right inside a good market for these. Look up as example Hacker speedboats. We build frames in alloy and install machinery, ship them over, you clad in mahogany and finish. Do you have good upholsterers available?
