After a decade of repairing sailboats I finally have the urge to build a boat.

I am looking for a centre console design between 20'-25' powered by a single outboard. My inspiration (please don't judge) is the Smartboat 23 and Wally tender. The plumb bow, modern design, open cockpit and lightweight design draw me to these boats and I would like to incorporate these elements into the boat I build. Construction would be a foam core on strongbacks with a polyester hand layup, I chose this method due to my experience in these materials, cost and weight. If anyone can point me in the direction of designs with this criteria it would be greatly appreciated.

What type of water do you plan on using this boat.

this boat will mainly be used on flat water but should be able to hand 1'-2' chop.
