I have tried a few programs trying to find one I could work with and the maxsurf seems to be the easiest for me the hull shell was modeled in a very short time but of course I keep tweeting until I got it like I had pictured in my mind witch took a bit longer:D

Some one else may have had this issue before I just haven't found thread when I searched an read them looking for these two particular issues so I thought I would just ask. yes I have read the manual and watched the videos who knows how many times actual both problems are on the same video ...lol

    Questions:

    1) The video tutorials clearly show the longitudinal & transverse lines can be found under the drop down then surfaces except my maxsurf library does not have (has others) either of those two surface line:mad: SO is there some where to download a larger surface library (as mine is very basic) OR is there a way to create a separate traverse line?

    2) next question is shown in same video and they use a bow thruster example for trimming. I can size and put my tube in for a bow thruster, I can trim the pipe that sticks out past the hulls skin BUT I can't trim the throw hole for the tube in the hull what am I doing wrong?

Goldhunter 2 the trim command sometimes only works in a certain views; to trim the tube with the hull I would use the top view. To trim the hull with the tube I would use the profile view, once the hull is highlighted select inside the circle of the tube to trim.
As for the longitudinal and transverse lines I only have an older version (12’s), which only had ready-made surfaces as a base for a new design, which were adjusted to suit.
