I am presently looking for several employees with marine experience. Currently have a Prodcut Design Engineer position...help create, design, and build one of the best boats in the world. Also positions for service yard managers in some key locations. We are always looking for mechanics, carpenters, painters, just about any skilled marine trades people. Feel free to check out our website:www.hinckleyyachts.com and also email me for any information: vkanecurtis@hinckleyyachts.com

Dear Sir, I am a yacht varnisher with 23 years experience. I have worked on several Hinckleys over the years, always saying they made me look good. I currently reside on Useppa Island, FL, but with the down turn in our economy I am not getting the boats that I usually would. If there is any place in your company that might need my expertise, I would enjoy hearing from you.

I definitely admire people who are humble, but there's nothing wrong with believing in yourself or your company either (or looking for people who are interested in being part of a team which seeks to build "one of the best," rather than people who don't care if they're building boat hulls or shower tubs.)

Hate to be party popper but some of these are scams. They get you to submit your resumes including social security number and other info and then steal your identity. So beware ... only send to after you verify their identity fully.

It would never be a good idea to send your ssn or other sensitive information to someone unknown who you don't trust; in this case however the email was at a known company domain which was registered since 1999 and no sensitive information was requested but rather the OP provided an email for questions/information so I don't believe this is on the mark for this post. I think the issue here is simply a reply to a really old post and I don't think valkane has been around since 2007. The OP is open ended so I can see why the new member replied, but in this case I think it's time for this thread to come to a close.
