what i understand is using basic dimensions from the exist yacht. Is that right?
if it is correct, how could i find those data which include Lbp.B.T.D,Displacement,Lightship,Deadweight,Speed and installed power.
I have been seeking for a week. Unfortunately, it seems no any ships in the market have all those information. Could you kindly clearify my doubts?

    Thank you

You're not going to study yacht design, but looking up equations and formulas online. You will have to start with some texts on the subject and/or take a course.

Unfortunately, I'm in a course. Do you have any suggestion where I can find all those data.
Because after I get the basic dimensions. All those values have to be compared with the exist one.

What you intend to do is right, that's the standard way to start. But, indeed, find that data is not straightforward. Some data can be found in the specialized magazines. The best, if you can, is to direct you to some NA or any builder asking them for such information.
