I did some drawing by hand now. I'll upload some pictures in a little bit! (Probably late tomorrow evening)

About buying plans, there's some problems with that.
The cost is VERY significant for me, also I won't be building it as the plans. Every measurement will be so different, and the weight distribution will be different, because I will have different equipment.
Also I want wheels on my boat -there's no plans out there that fits the bill.

I need to know more basics, so I can make better modifications to a design. I checked out a lot of study plans, and my design idea is in some ways very close to the Skoota, but in other ways really not ;(

I'm not sure what kind of requirements is meant by SOR.
And elevation of the boat above the water line or?
I want 2,1 meter headroom in most of the boat (really tall.. I know..)

I'll learn from other designs (of course) and follow the principles of them, but I'll design the cabin myself.

I'll use that floor plan of the 7,5 meter as inspiration. Also, really like these boats a lot!

SOR: Statement of Requirements. Type of boat, construction system, hull materials, what the boat will be used for, conditions in which it will navigate (design category), number of people on board, type of propulsion, desired speed, range, regulations to be met, deck equipment, equipment navigation, machinery in general, number of cabins, lounges, toilets, description of the accommodation, furniture, electrical equipment, generators / batteries, piping system, fire and comfort insulation, air conditioning..... everything that is necessary for the designer to create exactly the boat you are thinking of.

 

Catamaran boat -Houseboat. Small as possible while still comfortable.
Fiberglass epoxy-composite layer. Hand layup and vacuum infused epoxy. could be nice with a very thin wood layer (4mm) as a floor. I need to find some cheap wood, so I can't be too picky. But density of wood won't be more than 500kg/m3.
Sealed waterproof of course.

Design category B if possible with small changes to my design idea (pictures coming), but not a must. C will do.

2 people on board, but could be nice to have room for 4, just to eat dinner on the boat.

* Not sure of the type of propulsion I want. Gotta decide on that!

Desired max speed is 15 km/h, but I'm fine with 10 too

range is totally dependent on the money I have for batteries... But at least 40 km is good to begin with.

Regulations:
Not more than 2,5m wide. That's a must. 2,53 with fenders MAX.
No sails. No nonsense.
Lightweight.
Easy and fast to build.

Deck equipment is all in the google docs document.

1 big cabin, 2.1m tall. With 1 small room with a toilet.
Power generation is solar-panels on the roof and a wind turbine.
Batteries in the hulls.

* Not sure if I'm gonna need any piping system at all.
If I have room for a shower, I'll need also need a way bigger water tank than I originally wanted. But maybe yeah...

Insulating qualities of the boat is one thing I'm worried about.
Air condition will be a small vent and a wall/ceiling fan. Nothing fancy.
I don't know if I can get cheap foam, so that's a problem for me. Is it needed?
I'm not too scared of fire, but I have a fire blanket and an fire extinguisher-spray. I will coat the inside with some fire retardant too.

One thing I'm really worried about is noise.
How can I dampen the sound of the sea, the waves and the boat without making it heavy?
