    Hi All,
    Long time lurker :)
    I thought it was time to share my project build, I've been at it for a couple of years now so hard to sum up everything so I'll summarize as best I can;

    The boat was built in 1970 and was left to pasture approx 10yrs ago at my sailing club, I wanted a good project to learn about boat building and it's certainly been full of surprise educational opportunities, first one is don't buy a boat that's been left on the hard for 10 years!!

    So the plan was, clean her up lick of paint sail for a bit, refit bit by bit, buy bigger project, rinse and repeat until I have a decent sized bluewater cruiser.

    so far, the rotton interior has been gutted, braced back into shape, deck re-cored, keel re-ballasted, engine swapped for 12hp electric and at last the interior rebuild has now started!

    I've mad a lot of mistakes along the way and lost patience with it on more than one occasion but I'm enjoying the ride :)
