There were 4 Biscuits Cantreau, all VPLP design then young NAs.
The N° 2 in this article telling the story of F40, the first photo :

The N° 3 , twice winner of this F40 championship, is now in US, Spartina (Charleston) since 2017 :

, previously at St Mandrier, here in regatta for the Golden oldies 2016. : one can see details of the asymmetric daggerboard, especially at 1:39 of this video :

The N° 4 was launched in 90 after the end of the F40 formula, successively renamed Ylliam (winner of the Bol d'Or 1993), Spirit of Belgium, Agir, and now in your Auckland waters since 2012 I think. Do you know the new name ?

If I was to consider float foils they would be C foils but I haven't seen any kind of generic foil package that is suitable for the kind of loads we are looking at and a custom setup is out of the question cost wise unless something suitable comes onto the secondhand market. Then we would have to review float shape to optimise them for the foil package.

A bit more progress towards this project. I finally have a frame for the build tent it's an allshelter 18 metre x 12 metre container shelter. It will allow the complete boat to be setup undercover when I get to that stage which will be handy when we work on the beam pockets in the floats and final paint. Heavy duty tarp to cover the frame is on the way.

Wow, it's been ages since I updated this thread. The female hull mould stations of my now non F40 carbon/sandwich trimaran have been CNC cut by Innovation Composites.
