Force required to bend plywood panels

    The following technical documentation specifies minimum bend radius for various thichknesses of ply wood panels:

    Of interest would be the force required to achieve these bends as a function of panel width. I would think it is a linear function with width. I also suspect that bending a 4 foot wide sheet of 3/4" plywood to a minimum radius of 12 feet will take a very large force (like in come-along territory). I wonder if bending a 4 foot wide panel of 1/2" ply to a radius of 6 feet, requires the same force? I suspect it does.

    depends on lever length as well, doug fir plywood has an elastic modulus of about 1.0 to 1.2 x 10^6 psi, if you work out the geometry you can likely work out a force for any given width of plywood.
