    Hi All,

I have a 5.8m rib and it seems to have what appears to be a water mark or what I thought to be in one side of the hull, This is not replicated on the other side and will not polish or clean off. Am I mistaken and this is actually water between the gel coat & Hull? I did notice two very small hairline cracks in the gel coat and wonder if this has caused it. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

    Many Thanks Jim

It's very hard to tell in the pic, but it looks like a repaired area that doesn't quite match, which is very common.

The cracks may or may not be associated with the repaired damage, but it would be very unlikely the cracks would cause discoloration.
