    Hi,

Is it possible to replace a layer of 0.5mm woven roving fiberglass tape for :

-2 layers of 0.2mm of Cloth E glass tape Unidirectional (Plain Weave, loomstate)
    or
-1 layer of 1.6mm of Cloth E glass tape Unidirectional ( Plain Weave, loomstate)
    or
-3 layers of 0.18mm woven roving tape

Information needed for the construction of a stich and glue canoe.

Cited materials are those available to me and nearest to plan list.

    Thank you

Either option 1 or 3 will do. Option 2 is useless, as you need the 90 degree fiber, which is not in that tape. (or just a small portion)

Option 1 can be changed to 3 layers as well, althoug 2 layers might be enough in certain places. If you want to go safe, use 3 layers.

It is nice to do multiple thin layers, as you can stagger them a bit, preventing large ridges which require sanding.
