here getting close to pumping water.
need to ream the aft lid to facilitate raw water pickup up to bucket.

discharge tube is a tad larger than 5/8" hopefully will drain more than pump in will step up to 1 1/8" if extra drainage is needed.

plan to route discharge tube behind rod holder the add small piece of bucket for bottom support.

I fabbed an aluminum hinge bolted to the lid the whole lid is hinged it also seals securely.

I've decided on heating and flattening the front. the next step is to wrap w/ black packing insulation around the cylinder and the top.then paint white or cover w/ marine vinyl upholstery. i bought 10 yards x60" to redo my seats & inside panels there's enough for extra stuff.

after reconcideration the bubbles at night is kindof a bad idea I'm leaning toward going back to another buckect as holding pen overboard along w/ the troll a bait. this way I can separate differnt species or types of bait, like keep delicate shrimp in the trol a bait.

if a huge amount of bait is caught I have a large net24" diameter small 1/4" mesh which I fit inside my big landing net and hang overboard.
basicalley the ray o vac rechargeables aren't reliable on a recharge plus they get extremely hot during recharge. like I can charge place in my digital camera and camera may or maynot turn on and if it did turn on when you came to moving to the PC camera would be dead. I have about 4 differntly labled as rayo vacs rechargeables NIMH usaley I keep the same lables grouped however they are all NIMH

    No kidding?
That’s great, grandpa used em too!
White paint does wonders for insulation, and digital cameras too.
Flattening out the front is questionable, my brother did that to my nose on a regular basis, with questionable results.
Good to have extra stuff, you can make little rain jackets for the shrimps!
Ho hum, la ti da, WTFO?
