I need help.Opinions vary as to the particular type, but for now I need any info available on an old wooden boat I aquired last year. It is 19ft and made of cyprus lapstrake, with a mahagany wheelhouse. It looks like a type of east coast fishing boat, but I was told it was built by Wellington Welch, (a boat builder in San Souci, Georgian Bay) back in 1928. The motor is a 1930 model
    Red Seal Continental.
The planks, wheelhouse, decking, and transom are in good shape, but the keel and the ribs are pretty well shot.
I plan on a total restoration starting next month and would like to hear from anyone with any info or advice on getting started.
I have pictures of the outside as well as the interior of the wheelhouse if anyone is interested.

    thanks
