bob andrews: Now for the edges!!

Some trial & trial & trial, Bottom line the wood along the perimeter save the center bottom "V" was in Very good shape and NOT Giving up with out a fight. This is were the tedious comes in to play. (My Solution) 1" 3 fluted auger on a 12" extension, drilled shoulder to shoulder all the way around, and with in 1/4 " of screw tip interference with inner glass. Follow that pu with 1" spade type bit with the centering tip cut off. Hog out to inner glass contact. Use the same spade bit to "raddel" around and eventually with sharpened flat bars & chisel's & scrapers all the wood is gone.
