What will be the box-rule for the new (wing) mast, with or without added sail?
Softwing sails weren't proven technology in the past.
How much segments will the wing have?
Is the adjustments to the segments hydraulic driven like the last cup?
What will be the range in which the wing can be altered?

So many questions.. who knows the answers?
Speculation and guessing is allowed too.
    Might deliver good ideas.
And I know the design planning for the 36-th Americas Cup.

A simple ONE element morphing wing with the same requirements than "DARPA adaptative wing" research for HALE* UAV.
*Because Hight Altitude Long Endurance UAVs must manage very strong wind gradient when going through the Troposphère.

Thank you for that information. I liked the following graph about morfing wings.

    And I liked this thesis:https://www.boatdesign.net/attachme...2/?temp_hash=57fc09d1506816394cffdd9e9932bce0
Actuators with piezo-electric elements will have my support I guess.
I hope there will be enough budget for experimental electrotechnics.

The important sub-topic for wingsail application, IMHO, should be the "non-linear response" involving " bend-twist" and camber changes.

"Wing Design for AC75...."could be a very interesting thread to develop
