What kind of boat or who made this model

I recently found this old fiberglass boat and trailer in a barn in upper Michigan. Any idea who manufatured it? Was it a kit boat? What year is it from? Appears to be the late 50 or early 60's with the large fins.

 

It's a late 50's boat and many where produced like this, so finding the manufacture is typically difficult. There's not enough boat shown in the photos to really be sure. www.fiberglassics.com used to be the place to check for this sort of thing, but their site is down.

There are two things for sure about this boat: one is the manufacture is very likely long dead and second it'll need a complete rebuild. It really doesn't matter who made the boat. If you like the styling enough to consider restoration, then go for it. You spend just as much time and money on it knowing the manufacture name or not. Eventually, someone will recognize the lines and you can call it by it's real name.
