Ok, guys, I guess, I need your help.
I’m CrazyRussian of Watertribe fame. I completed 3 Everglades Challenges and one Michigan Challenge, tried two more unsuccessfully. I did one EC on old wooden A-class catamaran and rest of the Challenges on inflatable catamaran of Russian origin.
I’m planning to do 2010 Ultimate Florida Challenge. It is toughest small boat race on globe, I guess, I have never heard of anything similar. It is 1200 miles around Florida, including 90 miles upstream, 40 miles portage, 220 miles downstream, rest is coastal trip, both open water and protected, shallow waters.
    More info is here

I’m decent sailor, mostly multihull, and miserable paddler. I can row some stable platform, although. :)
Let’s bring some ideas. Boat must be light, 160 lbs max, I’m planning to do it in one boat.(technically, sailors can switch to kayaks on upper stretches of St.Mary’s river and portage, I don’t want to do it)
I have a boat in mind; however I want to see all ideas, no matter how wild they are.
    Multihull, monohull, anything.
Keep in mind that my financial resources are limited.
    Fire up!
