Up and Down the Brazos River in a Thames Rowing Skiff

This is a chapter in my quest to Row Across Texas (lake, by lake, by lake......)

From my homeport of Lake Livingston, TX, I trailered my 17' replica of a Thames Rowing Skiff to Waco, TX to row the bridges of the Brazos River.

I came, I saw, I rowed, I videoed.



IMHO, the most important bridge is the Waco Suspension Bridge





Total journey 8.2 miles in 2 1/2 hours.
It is the most scenic row I have ever done.

Don't suppose you have any higher resolution images of the blue box with what looks like windows and what may be a light on top seen around 5:53?

 

Good spotting! I never noticed that.

I didn't see any TARDIS on this trip.
But rowing my "repliboat" Thames Rowing Skiff, I felt like I was dialed in to 1869!

This looks like an ordinary blue plastic 55 gallon chemical drum. Not very interesting.

 

Ah well, it's probably for the best that one doesn't see the TARDIS when it's on Earth.

 

I skipped 5 frames ahead in the time/space continuum and things become clearer.
