Hey, your avater is still the same on the last post....went to the site, nice boat, I like the fact that it's an OB, easy maintenance, weatherization. I also like the lines and being out of the weather on a boat that size with a planning hull. Hope your perfect boat works out for you!

Put more flare in the sides and more rocker in the bow if you'd like a better and drier boat. Some taper aft would also make it handle better. There's as much to not like about that set of shapes as there are to enjoy.

    .

This is what he's talking about...

I can almost feel the waves slapping up against the bow and feel the water in my face. I'd change the bow.

I guess if they're popular, it must not be as bad it would seem.

    Have you also seen

    their mission statement :)

"Lady Bug Boats are constructed along the lines of the original Brockway Skiff. Lady Bug Boats, however, are built using modern materials and technology for a more durable hull and finish. Lady Bug Boats are designed and constructed to withstand the rough service and to meet the demands of the commercial fisherman. "

It means it looks too blunt at the bow (to me), but it ought to work fine.
