snowmobile engine marine convert?

    The prop size would be like the drive belt width on your snowmobile.

    Would'nt get far if the belt was only 1 foot wide!! lots of slip.

    Frosty, you were talking about the track being a foot wide and not the drive belt weren't you? Traction (slip) on a snowmobile is mostly governed by lug height and stud count, track length and width effect "floatation" more than traction.

    FYI, common snowmobile tracks range from 13" to 16" wide X 120" to 162" long, drive belts range from 1.5" to 2" wide.

    Not neccesarily, oil is still pumped to the top bearing of an outboard from low points in the engine you will need to sort that out.

    in two stroke motors the gas/oil mix travels to all the parts that need oil but if you flip the motor and rotate the carb to get it to run you will have a prob but if you managed to get a fuel injected one or a fuel pump you will be able to sort that problem out
