I am looking for a simple program to play around with for designing my cabin and other things. Im am not very computer savvy but instead of pencil and paper mabby there is a program to help me start learning. I am looking to do basic line drawings like mimicking my shear line then drawing out my cabins basic shape with the ability to change window angles and different variables. If anyone has a suggestion it would be appreciated. Thanks

Free Cad is pretty easy to learn (relatively) and has many modes, including a hull design module. Its not perfect and the mode/modules don't integrate as well as they should but... hey. Its free and can produce decent models even if you aren't trained in CAD.
