Rowing around the Horn

    Has anyone else seen the youtube video of the lunatic who is rowing around Cape Horn? Some guys are all guts and zero brains.

    You don't have that adventure bug in you perhaps...
    Did the guy use an Oselver Faering like Audun Nordhus used in '06?

    I think that it was Audun Nordhus and yes it was an Oselver which is said to be a standard Norweigan rowing boat. The guy may not be quite as certifiably nuts as first thought. He had a chase boat that filmed all the videos. Apparently, after he completed the rounding, he came aboard the chase boat and everyone drank champagne. A separate video shows the victory celebration.

    This may be old news but I just ran across it and was fascinated. In the same scanning session, I also came across a video of the Roz Savage row across the Atlantic episode. Her boat was very well prepared and was good looking. Roz herself is quite the attractive lady. Even more so than her boat.
