    Hello BDN,

I'm posting this for the first time. I want to thank everyone for the great input on this forum. I have been reading treads for days about pods, rim drive, SD. I can't find much data on rim drives.
Has anyone seen a gear driven rim drive propeller? just wanted to get some input from experts!
I started with a list and very basic drawings.

#1 Rim driven propeller data? Here's one https://vtechworks.lib.vt.edu/bitstream/handle/10919/19227/Newman_WF_T_2013.pdf?sequence=1

#2 Are shaft driven rim driven propellers in service? Here's a patent with shaft drive. patent; https://www.google.com/patents/US3487805

#3 Basic boat basic data on the boat.

    LOA: 70’11”
    Beam: 17’11”
    Draft: 4’10”
    Transom Deadrise: 13 degrees
    Displacement: 94,000 lbs.
    Fuel: 1,200 gals
    Water: 200 gals.

    Thank you in advance!
