I am wondering what are the boats over 46ft (14m) that have sold more than 100 units ?

I have found Grand Banks 46 (203 units), Hallberg rassy 46 (134 units).

    Are there other?

    Thanks.

This is going to be a fair bit of legwork on your part, as there are a lot of models to research. I can think of several off the top of my head, but definitive production numbers, based on length will just require a lot of digging.

    First 47.7 250 units.
    Oceanis 500 158 units.

    And Amel :

    Super Maramu 53 = 397 units.

I googled 'sales figure for boats over 45 feet long' and came up with these somewhat vague sites (at least for the question you asked).

The first one does have two lists of the number of boats sold by brand name, which might give you an idea of where to seek information and the second one gives an email address to seek more information.

Looking again I see the second one has a comment section, not a person to email. I also noticed both articles are written by the same guy, so he might be somebody to try and get ahold of.

    Back to market.

    Just a quick question :

Is there other significant powerboat manufacturers [more than 10 boats a year] that sell displacement / semidisplacement powerboats [40-60 ft length] ? Except KadeyKrogen , Selene/jetTern and Nordhavn for displacement, and Nordic Tug American Tug for semidisplacement.

    Thanks.

Yes. Nordlund in Tacoma WA, for one comes to mind. Are you interested only in US builders? If not, there are many outside the US.

No. I am interested by worldwide builders, not only US.

    But Nordlund : NO. http://www.nordlundboat.com/nordlund_03.html
They does not seem to produce anything in the 40-60 ft range. And they seem to sell much less than 10 boats a year. They seem to have only 1 or 2 launch a year.

But I forgot the dutch yard Elling in the semi displacement range.

Also forgot Fleming Yacht in the semi displacement range. But I am not sure they sell more than 10 boats a year.

NB Grand Banks is no longer selling semidisplacement powerboats. They are all planning powerboats.

And I wonder if Nordic or American are selling more than 10 boats a year in the 40'-60' size?

Nordic tug have sold around 120 NT42, in a little more than 20 years. So that about 5-6 hulls a year. Bigger models 47/49 and 52/54 are anecdotical. But the 37/39/40 sell much more.

Actually, they produced 479 units. Of these, 239 were legacy Super Maramu's and 240 were Super Maramu 2000's (which were SM's with a few new options).
