    Hello everyone - I have a 19' double skinned sports/fishing boat rated for a 90hp motor.
I have split the deck and hull to replace the plywood transom and ribs.
The transom appears to be a 2" sandwich of four 1/2" pieces of ply, the ribs that support the floor are 3/4" ply.
I would like to replace the ply with synthetic materials but still retain the integrity for the motor rating.
    Any suggestions?
I live in the UK and am a beginner to this type of project, so material specifics rather than where I can obtain them would be a great help.
    Cheers!

I'm new to this as well, but from what I've been reading Klegecell sounds like a good alternative. I'm about to lay up a new deck and transom on an old 18 foot fish and ski Larson that has a 90HP on it now. I want to strengthen the transom and add some extra flotation and replace the 90 with a 60-75HP 4 stroke.

On this page you can go up above to SEARCH and put in whatever you want or go way down to the bottom of this page to SIMILAR THREADS and look at those. Here's one of them. Sam
