Newbie Multisurf Question

Hi, I'm learning Multisurf and have a quick question. When I select a point, it is not showing any properties in the properties dialog box. I've had this happen on two models, although I've made a couple other models where everything was fine. When I do a query extents, the points are showing, with coordinates, etc, so I know the info is in the model... but in the dialog box, the spaces that normally have info are blank. I can draw in the model, but can't edit co-ordinates from the dialog box. I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple. Any help?
