BUT i am not that adventurous - maybe i'm just getting old. Or sensible?

 

What is sensible ?

 

Would you cross an ocean in an inflatable?
Were i (a bit) younger and not married i may consider more "out there" thinking..... maybe sensible is dull? Maybe it is 'safe'....

Which brings me to something else - are there any women on this forum?
Are there any female boat designers? It doesn't seem that way...... and considering that they do have some say ( )as to the boats we get.... why not?

 

In general, you will find less women than men in science, math (though there are several in math) and in the hands on trades. Designing boats is an intersection of all 3, so women designers will be scarce. Are there any?

Would there be any savings in going ndrua/asymetric - hull-wise? How different could the hulls be without being too adverse?
Ideally both hulls would be useable....
Rig centre/one hull/bi?
Non proa proa... yes - i know - it's a tacking outrigger - but .....
So far it's a cat - but what else could/would be viable - in 9m range?
Even if hulls are same length but one is less volume? Couldn't you load it more to balance the two out? Balance the wt out with different hull forms?
Cruiser not racer - no flying hulls.
Any idea's? Anybody else like the idea or...?
