The Power pack is not sending spark to the spark plugs on my 1978 merc 110 9.8. I don't know what the problem is so I would like to know how to test the:

    power pack
    stator
    coils
    trigger

    Thanks.

Your best start is to get a manual. It's got diagrams, photos and specifications. Do you have the proper tester and tools?

Bill Gates may have had in the design of the doggoned thing. Every once in awhile you get the Blank Screen Dath, so you just power off/on.
